I agree with Mathew because maybe not all teens are mature, and like i said in my argument, may not even be ready to drive
They Should change the driving age to 18 because, The biggest killer of teens, are in fact Vehicle crashes. 16 year olds are more likely to total there cars then 18 year olds are, 16 year olds also are more likely to not wear seat belts.
"The report also showed that the New Jersey fatality rate fell significantly for teens after a graduated licensing law was enacted. Among the state's 17-year-old drivers, the percentage in fatal crashes dropped 33 percent after the law was enacted." Says Ted Gregory from Chicago Tribune. Also, they are may not be ready at 16 years old.
