Yes some 16 year olds are mature enough to dive but most are not mature and should have to take more years of drivers ed to be able to get behind the wheel.
If the 18 year old is matured they will know not to underage drink and will be smart behind the wheel.
But more kids are more matured when they are 18 instead of 16 where they can get behind the wheel and be more safe. Most 16 like to goof off and mess around in their cars because the think it's appropriate to do stunts like this, but 18 that are mature will drive to get to place to place and not try to impress.
Kids can get a ride from friends or parents to get from place to place. They can even use their bike, skateboard, legs, or even a scooter to get to place to place.
We should the driving age should be raised to 18, because 16 year olds get into more accidents because their brains are still not fully matured yet, and they are more attentive to their phones that paying attention to the road. 18 Year olds are more responsible and can drive more patiently and pay more attention because their brains are more mature than the normal 16 year old and won’t get in more accidents.
