I believe that the driving age should not be changed because, it would not help the fact that most crashes are caused by inexperience, so if the change was made that would mean that the crash rate wouldn't be lowered would just stay the same because the people that are driving are still inexperienced. According to A.J. Rox “Sixteen-year-old drivers crash mostly because of inexperience. If the driving age is raised then 18 year olds will also crash because of inexperience. This means that the death rate of 18 year olds will increase, while the death of 16-year-old death rate; will increase.” Therefore increasing the driving age would not help when most crashes are caused by inexperience.
