A high school in Idaho will change its longtime Redskins nickname, logo and mascot to show respect for Native Americans. Dr. Quartey told the crowd he had a Redskins cap when he was living in the Washington, D.C.,

area. “I cut the logo off” after he learned of the term’s meaning, he said.

Indians/Native Americans should not be sports team’s mascots. It can make Native Americans feel offended.
