Some people accuse teens of being guilty of reckless driving before they even step foot in a car. Why should teens be punished before they had even done anything wrong in the first place. I think that teens should be able to prove themselves first and that not every teen is a reckless driver. Not everyone should be punished for something only a small amount of people are doing.

Even though this is true, the brain of an 18 year old is still not fully developed either. 18 is also the age that teens start under aged drinking, which means that there would be more drunk drivers on the road.

The minimal driving age should stay at 16. Teens need to be able to get from place to place on their own. Most parents do not have time to get their kids where they need to go on time all of the time. Some teens also have jobs. They need to be to their jobs on time and cannot do that if they cannot drive and their parents are at work. "If we raise the driving age, who is going to take the kids to dates, danced, and other school events?" - A.J. Rox, Driving Age Should not be Raised.

Supporting Evidence: Driving Age Shoud not be Raised (docs.google.com)
